We’re off to savor our way through Thailand and Cambodia for the next 2 ½ weeks, which unfortunately means that there won’t be any new menus or recipes during that time (stupid iWeb…working on changing this limitation of my site for the future!). I encourage you to go back through the archives to try out old menus and recipes.

I promise to bring back lots of yummy authentic Thai recipes from my cooking class and of course many photos of my foodie travels.  I will also be tweeting as I travel so if you’re interested you can at least get small bites of our travels while we’re away.

  • Explore the many Wats (especially Wat Phrathat Doi Suthrep)
  • Take a Thai Cooking Class (Siam Rice Thai Cookery School)
  • Explore the Night Market & Sunday Market
  • Get massage(s)!
  • 4/4: Phuket, Thailand (Karon Beach)

  • Rent a moped and explore Karon Beach and surrounding towns
  • Get in some good ‘ole beach time!
  • 4/5 – 4/6: Koh Phi Phi, Thailand

  • Take island boat tour
  • Rent bikes and explore the island
  • 4/6 – 4/8: Krabi (Railay Beach), Thailand

  • Boat tour of Phang Nga Bay National Marine Park
  • Take a rock climbing class on the famed cliffs of Railay Beach!
  • Massage!
  • 4/9 – 4/11: Bangkok, Thailand

  • Explore the Chatuchak Weekend Market
  • Go to a Muy Thai Boxing Fight
  • Grand Canal Tour & Floating Market
  • Explore the Grand Palace & many other Wats
  • Dinners on Sukhumvit Rd & Kaho San Rd and explore the many high-rise rooftop bars
  • Massage at Wat Po
